Changes to blog

As you may have noticed there have been a few changes made to this blog, which I hope you all like. Here is a list of the changes that I have made:

1) The layout has been given a different look. Although I liked the way the blog look originally I thought it was time for a change. I have been looking for a design that fits in with the books that I read, and I think this layout does. Hopefully you think the same.

2) The blog now has a facebook page and a google plus page as well. So if you want to follow the blog on facebook and google plus then please feel free to do so.

Up and coming changes to the blog

Over the next couple of weeks you may notice a change in the blog. Here are the changes that I am planning on making:

1) Content/ Reviews

As many of you may know I am an eclectic reader, but recently I have noticed that I am starting to read alot more YA books, so with that in mind I have decided that this blog will be a YA only blog. I am not sure what I am going to do with my previous posts but starting from 14th September 2011, any new posts will be YA related.

All reviews that I post to this blog, from 14th September 2011, will be YA related and contain a lot more information. My reviews will now contain the following:

UK & USA book cover
Title and author
UK Publication date/year
USA Publication date/year
ISBN number
Series Title (if applicable)
Series Number Order (if applicable)
Link to publisher website
Format
Genre
Rating

2) Appearance

As I have decided to change the content of this blog I thought it needed a different look too. I am not sure how it is going to look but I am aiming to make it as appealing as I can.

3) Memes

I am going to be taking a more active role in meme's now. Again these are all going to be YA related.

Up and coming changes

Here are some of the changes that I will be making to this blog over the next couple of weeks.

Appearance

As you can see I have already made this change, and I have to say that the blog feels completely different. The reason why I made this change was because the previous design had a very depressing feel about it, so I felt that it was time to change it and I have to say that I really like the look of this blog now.

Content

This is the one area that I know this blog has been lacking and that is going to change in a huge way. Firstly you are going to see alot more content as I will now be reviewing movies as well as books. Let me explain what I mean by this. This is always going to be a book review blog, but recently I have been discussing movies that are based on books with a few friends of mine and decided to incorporate movie reviews into the blog as well.  Secondly I will still be taking part in weekly memes, but I will also be reviewing book covers and trailers. I am also looking into the idea of having monthly guest reviewers and author interviews.
